CONTRACT
This contract stipulates the itemized conditions of
agreement between the homestay host and
the homestay guest.
This contract shall take effect upon the date of receipt
and confirmation of the homestay application form.
1. The guest shall abserve and aide by the rules of
the host and the laws and regulations
of local jurisdiction.
2. Asa a general rule, homestay payment shall be made
in Korean won(i.e., Korean currency).
3. The guest shall submit the guest's passport to the
host upon check-in for the duration of
the stay: and the guest shall have a copy of the passport
in his or her possession during
his or her stay in Korea.
4. Smoking in the host's residence is prohibited unless
approved inadvance by the host.
5. Cornsumption of alcohol in the host's residence must
be approved by the host.
Notice: Korean legal drinking age is nineteen years
of age.
6. The basic rate of homestay (as of January 2002 rate
of exchange of $1(US)=1,300 won
and 100 yen = 1,000 won) is as follows: One night of
single occupation=35,000 won:
One night of double occupation=60,000 won: 20% discount
for stay of 2 weeks or longer.
The rate of long-term stay is to be negotiated between
the host and the guest to their mutual
satisfaction.
7. The basic homestay service shall included bedding
and breakfast. An additional meal
can be provided with the extra fee of 5000 won.
8. An international call made by the guest from the
host's residence must be made as a collect
call or with a telephone card.
9. The guest shall assume financial responsibility of
items, in the host's residence, damaged
by the guest during his or her homestay.
10. Neither ANAGI KOREA B&B nor the host shall
(i) assume financial responsibility for the guest's
bodily injury incurred or a natural disaster
be falling upon the guest during the homestay or
(ii) participate in any guest-initiated lawsuit over
damage compensation.
11. Additional items required shall be decided and agreed
upon by the host and the guest.
